Clinch stud and nut designs can reduce production costs and add value to a finished product, while often enhancing the product's integrity. Clinch fasteners eliminate the need for expensive and sometimes hazardous welding operations. Versus welding with clinch fasteners there is no distortion due to excessive heat, the aesthetic value of the application is improved, and the potential for corrosion is reduced.

Acument™ Global Technologies Strux® studs and nuts are designed to replace conventional clinch studs and nuts which cannot meet the performance characteristics for certain applications. Assemblies rely on Strux® products to maintain high levels of retention in areas where rotation, push-out forces or vibration may cause other nuts and studs to unseat.
